We need a way to get 12 (10.2) channels of analog audio from Pro Tools to the Big Monsterous Obnoxiously Huge Knob. We have two Pro Tools interfaces right now. One is a 192 I/O which has 8 analog outputs, and one 192 Digital which has zero analog outputs. There is an expansion card we can buy for the 192 I/O to get an additional 8 analog outputs (about $1100) or an 8 channel AES to analog box. Can anybody find something that can do this and see how much $$ it would be? $1100 is a lot of money, but we may have no choice. The other option Colby mentioned was to get a Motu interface, this would work fine for Digital Performer and Logic but not Pro Tools. What do you guys think?
